Quiz results reveal lack of knowledge on GMOs

The results of our recent GMOinfo quiz, advertised in March in Politico, are in, and they show that people are much less informed about GMOs than they could be. The majority of participants greatly underestimated the extent to which GMO have been assessed as safe by representative scientific organizations — now counting almost 90 from Europe, and only a small minority were aware that the European Commissioner for Food Safety himself,  Vytenis Andriukaitis, said that “Banning GM imports means doing away with our capability of producing food.” All the more reason to share our quiz with your network!
